Who we help

What types of companies do you help?

We support companies who are doing smart science, high ticket technology, and innovative engineering. You’ll be working to make the world a better place, socially, environmentally, or ideally both.

If expressing the true value of what you offer is a challenge, we can help. We love anything really clever and complicated, with lots of moving parts and different elements to understand and communicate!

What sort of people do you work with?

We work with frustrated founders and misled marketers. Our sweet spot is working with people who make the things that make the world a better place…

Frustrated founders are usually visionary scientists, engineers, or tech wizards whose dreams of making the world a better place are slowly being crushed by the commercial realities of not being able to sell enough of their big idea. The problem isn’t that their idea isn’t brilliant, it’s that they’re too clever and too close to the product, so they can’t explain it in a way that can be easily understood and wanted by their target market.

Misled marketers are also frustrated. They know they need to get the leads flowing to grow the business, but they can’t translate the tech speak they get from their product people into simple, relatable, and most importantly saleable concepts. They’ve tried all the growth hacks and tech stacks out there and it’s not moving the needle enough. That’s where we come in…

What size of company or nonprofit can you help?

Genius looks after established tech startups (Series A+), larger small businesses and mid-market brands. Much like Goldilocks, there are some companies that are too big, some that are too small, and some that are just right for us to help.

I don’t fit, can you still help me?

We sometimes take on clients who sit outside our core space. If they’ve got the vision, the innovation, the amazing company culture, and the commitment to doing something genuinely game-changing to improve the world we share, we often choose to help support their journey.
